The Battle Photographic Society is a group of around 60 photography enthusiasts who have been meeting in Battle, East Sussex since 1962. Members range from amateur hobbyists to professionals all of whom are passionate about developing their skills. Membership is open to anyone interested in photography.
The society promotes the enjoyment, mastery and advancement of photography through education, the monthly competitions and member events. Other key activities include workshops, seminars, the annual exhibition and participation in regional and national competitions.
The recent introduction of Special Interest Groups has encouraged those interested in particular aspects of photography, including including Street, Wildlife, Project and Landscape, to join together on field trips learning from one another in a social environment.
As a member you can connect with an inspiring community, gain valuable feedback and make new friends who share your creative passion for photography. The society provides a supportive environment for photographers of all levels.
Meetings are held at 7.30pm on Tuesdays, between September and June either using Zoom or in person at the Memorial Hall, 81 High Street Battle, TN33 0AQ. See programme for full details.
